On Sunday, September 15, the “Aldair Fagundes” field of Project # 13 in Foz do Iguaçu was officially inaugurated. The all-day event was filled with cultural activities and lots of soccer. Volunteers received trophies to honor their commitment and support. The day was a great success and a lot of fun.
Speeches from Mano Silva, Chief Operations Officer and President of love.fútbol Brasil; Aldair Fagundes, a prominent leader in the community; and Flavio Lira, a representative of love.fútbol Brasil in Foz do Iguaçu kicked off the opening ceremony.
Children of the U-11 team brought fun and excitement to the event as they competed in the first game of the day. Three more games followed to help the community celebrate the project and inauguration day. Members of the community and volunteers of the project who dedicated months of hard work attended the ceremony, as well as fans of love.fútbol and its initiatives.
Here at love.fútbol we believe our children are our future. Thanks to all those involved in Project #13, the children of Foz do Iguaçu have a safe place to become the leaders of tomorrow while staying happy and healthy.
Love.fútbol Brasil would like to thank the community of Foz do Iguaçu and all those who made the project and inauguration day a huge success.
Love.fútbol is still busy in Brazil, working to complete Project #14 in Pinhais, Paraná. Stay tuned for details on this project and more!
