Curitiba Are you curious to see where love.fútbol is going next in Brazil? We want to share information about our new project cities, which recently won Copa Coca-Cola, which is a soccer tournament for young players between 13 and 15 years old. Let's start with Curitiba.

Curitiba is the capital of Paraná state and the most populous city in South Brazilian. Soccer is huge in Curitiba, and is one of the host cities for the FIFA World Cup 2014 and the stadium Arena da Baixada will host four international games. The city is home to three teams: Clube Atlético Paranaense, Coritiba Football Club and Paraná Clube.

The name of the city is a reference to the Araucária tree - a symbol of the Paraná state and known in Tupi-Guarani language as Curi'i. The Araucária can be seen too in the city poster for the FIFA World Cup 2014!

Soon, a community in Curitiba will give the opportunity to partner for a bigger cause: the right to play!

Foz do Iguaçu

Foz do Iguaçu is located in the Paraná state of Brazil and is one of Brazil’s most-frequented tourist destinations. The city is internationally known for the Iguaçu Falls, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Foz do Iguaçu has problems on its border, such as smuggling of drugs and weapons and high instances of violence. According to UNICEF and the Brazilian Federal Government, Foz do Iguaçu has the highest homicide rate among adolescents (12-19 years old) in the country.

We believe that soccer is an important tool to develop the self-esteem of underserved communities and to help promote social development in situations of social difficulties. love.fútbol can't wait to work in partnership with a community in Foz do Iguaçu!
